The inventors
Developed from experience on the concours field.
M100 is the brainchild of Christian Kramer and Nigel Matthews — two experienced concours judges with combined experience at more than 250 concours around the world.

Chris and Nigel have judged internationally across a wide range of marques, eras and vehicle categories, very often serving in leading positions. That practical experience shaped a shared conviction: concours standards can remain exacting while the process becomes more relevant, proportionate and constructive.
The system responds to what organisers, judges and entrants encounter in practice — increasingly diverse fields, changing collector demographics and automobiles whose importance cannot be understood through component correctness alone.
Every form and guideline is intended to work in real judging conditions. Feedback from the field is therefore part of the system’s continuing development.

Design expertise
Automotive judging informed by automotive design.
The M100 Supercar & Hypercar judging forms were developed with the support and input of Ed Welburn, former Vice President of Global Design at General Motors.
His design perspective helped ensure that modern collector cars are considered not only through build quality, finish and usability, but also through proportion, form, design language, innovation and technological impact.
Modern concours events bring together engineering, design, history, preservation and culture. M100 reflects that breadth by valuing several complementary perspectives.
01
Judges
Automotive knowledge, authenticity, condition, correctness and historical context.
02
Designers
Proportion, form, coherence, innovation and the language of automotive design.
03
Organisers
Workable forms, consistent processes, meaningful classes and a strong entrant experience.
04
Entrants
Transparency, respect and constructive observations that support stewardship of important cars.

Independent and adaptable
A system, not a membership organisation.
M100 is an adaptable judging and evaluation framework for major multi-marque concours events. It has no membership structure and no single-marque agenda.
The system supports events that must compare automobiles from different eras and disciplines. It does not seek to replace specialist club judging or factory authenticity programmes whose purpose is strict model-specific correctness.
More about the identity
Modernized, not modified.

What unites us
A love of automobiles in all their complexity.
We come together because we love cars — not because we love screws and hose clamps.
Details matter. But they serve a larger purpose: understanding, preserving and celebrating the automobile as a complete expression of engineering, design, history and human ambition.
